I'm trying to connect 2 more monitors to my computer. They are VGA only monitors and I don't really want to buy adapters. I have 2 currently connected right now. The 2 I already have are connected to my GTX 1060. The 1060 I have does not have any VGA out/in connectors. So, I plugged in an old GT 210 to run the VGA monitors. It only has 1 VGA connector.

So, right now I have 2 monitors plugged into the 1060 via HDMI and DVI. 1 monitor plugged into the 210 via VGA. And lastly 1 monitor plugged into the igpu via VGA.

The monitors I have plugged into the 210 and the IGPU are not displaying and nothing I seem to do has helped. Is there anyway I can run the extra screens this way with a setting I haven't tweeked yet? am I SOL?

System:

i5 3470
GTX 1060
8gb kingston ddr3
1tb HDD

Solution
In bios, there's usually a video tab of some sort and a switch in there to enable/disable multi-gpu.
Same thing in windows settings.
You'll need the drivers for the gt210/430, trying to use the same drivers as the 1060 uses will give errors, even though the core drivers are the same, there's additional stuff like game optimizations that neither of the other cards can handle.

Update: Device manager says "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems"

Gonna try a different card I have lying around. It's a GT 430 if I remember right. Will report back soon.

Fucking perfect m8! The 210 I have is bad I guess because I took it out and put in the 430. The igpu monitor started working. Went into the bios and enabled multi-gpu and restarted. Now all of my monitors are recognized and working! Thanks a ton!
