Hi everyone,
I bought a second hand gaming PC several years ago to do some video work. The mother board is an EVGA nForce 790i Ultra SLI, 132-CK-NF79-A1 with an intel Q9550 socket 775 cpu and 4 sticks of Kingston Hyper Blu DDR3 1600 4G 1.65V memory, and it has just died. Took a trip to the repairman who pronounced it "unrepairable".
Searched on the web for a replacement but can't find one, seems socket 775 boards are history.
Can anyone recommend a socket 1150 motherboard that will allow me to reuse the Kingston memory with an i3, or possibly i5/i7, cpu?
I am fairly ignorant of much of this technology but understand that ddr3 1.65V memory is a problem with modern, later socket cpu's.
Thanks in advance.
