Hi, I am a bit of a newbie when it comes to pc parts. I'd like to know if my current build can help me play games on a higher resolution, or would I need to tweak and change some hardwares to get the result? I currently play games like BF4, and some other offline Single players games when they release on a 20" monitor with 1600x900 with 60hz.

I would like to know if I get a 23" monitor, with a higher resolution ratio and refresh rate, will my computer be able to run games on 1080p or 1440p with a higher rate than 60fps?

My comp specs are:

- CPU: i7-4770 @3.2ghz
- GPU: GTX 770
- RAM: 8GB

Thanks a lot for any help!

With a 770, no, you'll be limited to 1080p and no more than 60 FPS if you expect max settings and current games. In fact some games you'll have to compromise settings just to get 60 FPS or even above 40.

Really depends on the games and the settings you're OK with though.
