I have a D'Link DIR 605L router and have recently bought a Cat6 30 meter. I properly crimped the RJ45 jacks at both ends to make a 30m patch cable. So the problem is that when I connect the cable to router and PC, yellow exclamation mark appears on internet sign on the taskbar. Also I am not able to access my router page and there is no connection.
But when I use a 1 meter cable it works just fine. Does long cables cannot transmit the data? Or my cable is faulty and I must seek a replacement ?
And if you please read do reply
