one of my pins on my lga1155 motherboard is not bent or broken but taller what do i do

I assume since you are posting this you are having problems with the computer as a result.
Usually pins wont be taller so there is a chance it is bent up but may not look bent.

You can try inserting the cpu and see if it manages to fix it but there is a risk to damaging the board and cpu further.
Now if you have warranty I would recommend sending it back to where you bought it for repairs or a replacement, as under warranty it will be free. Otherwise I recommend bringing it to a repair shop. Trying to fix it yourself could result in the motherboard not being usable. Otherwise if you think you have that steady hand and dont mind if you friq it up yourself you can try manually bending it to the correct location (Although I do not...
