Pcie slot problem

So I have a b250-plus movo and a gtx1060 and I installed the gpu into the 1st pcie slot and it worked perfectly but a few days later I turned on the pc and no signal was received by the monitor so I changed the gpu to the 2nd and it works now. What happened to the 1st lot and can I somehow put back the gpu to the 1st slot with the monitor actually receiving signal?

Go into "Control Panel > Device Manager" and see if all your drivers are up to date. If you see any yellow warning signs, right click and choose "Update driver software".

Still haven't installed windows. I'm waiting for my ssd to come I'll reply if ur solution doesn't work for me

Your motherboard also has many BIOS and chipset driver updates, you should probably install the newest versions as well.

I already was looking at that drivers to install but I still can't access internet :/ luckily next week I'll have the ssd also still haven't got the DVD driver yet so I can't install the drivers that came with the mobo

Thanks you were correct it was a driver problem, i got my ssd today installed all drivers and its
working now
