Hi. So i have a Gigabyte GA-B150-HD3 and i would like to update the bios so that i can install an Intel I7. (current version F5. Needed F20 onwards) The Gigabyte app center supposedly does this through the software. Should i update it like that? Since I've heard lots of horror stories about people updating through the Bios and pretty much bricking the whole thing. So my real question is:
Is the gigabyte app center a safer option to update my mobo?
