evga 1080ti ftw3 has 2 hdmi and 2 other inlets?

Ive never seen them they look slightly larger than hdmi and have one end slanted and one end squared off. I also got 2 cables with my 4k monitor one hdmi and one that fits the other, which one is better?

HDMI and DP are both capable of transferring video and audio data. For some monitors it doesn't matter which you use. On some monitors though you may not get the full use unless using DP.

For example, a monitor might be 1920x1080 144Hz, but only work at 60Hz via the HDMI connection.
