I want to upgrade my pc, My current spec is
i5 4570
Asrock B85 Fatility
G Skill Ripjaw 1600 MHZ DDR3 4GB x2
Cooler Master Hyper 212x with an Corsair fan attached to it
Cooler Master 700W Bronze
Corsair Neutron GTX 120 GB
Cooler Master Centurian 6 Case

Now I want to upgrade and I am thinking of 3 build. Please note that Im gonna be gaming on 1080p.
Spec 1 :
i5 8400
Gigabyte Aorus Z370 Gaming 3
G Skill Trident Z 3200 MHZ DDR4 4GB x2
Gigabyte Aorus 1070
Keeping My Previous SSD and Cooler

Spec 2 :
i5 8600K
I am gonna keep my previous CPU cooler
Gigabyte Aorus Z370 Gaming 3
G Skill Trident Z 3200 MHZ DDR4 4GB x2
HIS ICE COOL X2 580 8 GB OC
Samsung EVO 960 M2 256 GB

Spec 3 :
i5 8600K
CRYORIG H7 Quad Lumi RGB
Gigabyte Aorus Z370 Gaming 3
G Skill Trident Z 3200 MHZ DDR 4GB x2
HIS ICE COOL X2 580 8 GB OC
Cooler Master Masterbox Lite 5 Mid Tower Chassis

Which will be good ? If I take the second build, I may sell the card after 1 year and buy new GPU and have that very fast PCIe SSD. But Spec 1 will have me max out every game out there right now. But will the 8400 live for 3 years ? 8600k Can be overclocked in late future..... Also at 1080p CPU means more than GPU, right ? So a better CPU is good for the long run ? Thanks.

Solution
yeah man 8400 is a-ok.

Some games with heaps of mods installed chew through RAM but generally youll be fine. Just ensure you close down any open programs (apart from steam of course)before running game.
It sucks that RAM price has doubled. You can always add another 2x 4gb later. (Make sure its the same model kit)
They are all "good". For most intensive games the GPU still matters more than the CPU even @1080p. I'd drop the new SSD/M2; drop the RAM to 2400Mhz or 2666Mhz if it shaves some cash; and go with a GTX 1080 and the 8600K if it was me and I had to upgrade; though your current CPU is still decent, so if you want a more meaningful upgrade you could just get a 580 or 1060 6GB for now and save your cash for when it's going to give you more of a performance increase cpu-wise.

1080 is out of the question. Too pricy here. And dont you think thats much overkill for a 1080p setup ? The difference between 2400 and 3200 ram is 400 TAKA thats 5 dollar. I know my CPU is decent but this things are 3 years old now and no warranty. I am afraid if they die, I wont get any value from them. Just like my r9 290 died a few months ago. So, I want to sell them now and get a new setup considering intel 8th series is new and they should at least support me for a 3 + years at least.

GPUs are typically less resilient than CPUs. I've had several GPUs that had to be RMA'd, but I can honestly say that in 20 years of owning my own computers; not once has an Intel CPU died on me, despite many years of use. One of my gaming rigs has a heavily used i7 960 overclocked to 4.1Ghz; another has a 3930K overclocked to 4.2Ghz.

For high refresh and/or high FPS a GTX 1070 won't cut it in the most demanding games at max settings if you are after a steady 60+ FPS @ultra.

I have GTX 1070s in two systems (i7 6700/16GB RAM, i7 6820HK/32GB RAM) and neither can hold a solid 60+FPS @1080p max settings in extremely demanding games like Wildlands, AC Origins, etc. So just be prepared to compromise a bit in some games, just not as much as you will have to with a 1060 or 580.

even if my current setup dont die, i will get less value from them the more i wait. wildlands and ac origins are different story. i know 1070 cant handle 60 fps at them but its better than 580/1060 in all other aspects. despite all this discussions, i actually never get a clear answer from you. which one do u think i should i go for ? spec 1 or spec 2 ? my ssd has 145 bad sector and i think it may die soon. with 8600k quite futureproof for 1080p from cpus end and i can sell that 580 later next year and buy a 1170/2070. again, in spec one, with an 8400, i wont see any visible fps lost at 60 hz monitor right ? and 1070 should be enough to for 2+ years and 8400 wont bottleneck anything in 3/4 years, right ?

Id go for an 8400 or 8700. With a 1080. Overclocking is overrated.
Samsung 850 ssd. What SSD do you have thats dying? bets its not an 850 or an intel. NVME drives wont give you a nitcible diference unless you transfering oir doing intensive workstation applications.
If youve got a great budget then sure, include a 250gb one for the o/s drive.

Put your list in pcpartpicker and tell us a budget.

Cant do the pickpocket because price vary a lot here in my country Bangladesh and so for the availability of products. So, you are actually asking to go for a non k 8400 processor. Will it still be viable after like 3 years ? Wont it bottleneck gpu at that time ? 8600k gives me that futureproof. Also, I ve mentioned I am using Corsair Neutron GTX 120 GB. It has 145 bad sector for about a year and I dont think it will survive many more to come. Also, you are missing the point that if I opt for a SSD, pcie/sata, I cant afford the 1070. Look at spec 1 and 2 and tell me which one or mix them.Samsung 850 ssd is available which is cheaper than that pcie one. I can opt for that instead of the pcie one. Then I have to settle with a 580.

3 years? yes.
Im just telling you what to strive for. Already said, forget NVME for now. youd pay for something you wont notice.

Corsiar ssd you say? Its why i only recommend samsung, intel or crucial SSDs. Samsung has the performance so thats my go to drive. 99% of the people with failed SSDs have other brands. When you can, get an SSD.
Dont skimp on the GPU.

If you can wait a few months H370 mobos will be released. That could get you an 8700 for same price as a 8600k with Z370 mobo.
Yes, the 8700 would be better. (But if it means you have to compromise on the GPU then get the 8400)

Cant wait few months... Need to do it now. So, I am guessing 8400 with 1070 and buy a ssd like samsung 850 later when i can; meaning spec 1 ? and 8400 is decent right ? for 1080p, it should be enough ? also i dont need more than 8gb ram if i dont have any app running in background, right ?
