I was messing around in the settings of my monitor (Dell S2340L) and found "image enhance" It made pretty much everything nice and sharp and looked really good. but some things (ive mostly noticed in games) like lights, the sky, whites, have a kind of fuzzy, noisy, staticy look to it that it doesn't really have when that option is turned off.

If there is another setting somewhere that could make everything look smooth then I'd live to know

You may need to make other configuration changes as well either via the monitor or the graphics software on your computer.

Does the following link provide the User Guide for your monitor?

Reference:

http://downloads.dell.com/manuals/all-products/esuprt_electronics/esuprt_display/dell-s2340l_user%27s%20guide_en-us.pdf

Take a look at the settings pages starting around Page 28.

Not just a matter of "image enhance" per se being on or off. There are other related factors/configuration settings involved as well.

Being an option of sorts "image enhance" is applicable and works if and when needed. Not for all viewing situations....
