It 'should' work as there is a PCIe x16 slot. Although the manual doesn't say what the exact spec is. But it's probably 1.1.
The CPU is just too weak however.
One issue with this board is that you are limited to 4GB of system ram. So you will not have a good experience with modern games, if they actually run at all.

Another problem is that the maximum TDP of the CPU 'should be <65W' according to the manual.
This limits your upgrade options, as it rules out 'most' high-end Core2 quad-cores and many Core2 duos as well.
