Hello i had a problem today while i was playing wolfenstein 2 the new colossus everything was fine and working like a charm but when i died and retry the game has start to lag alot and the color of water was very bright and yellow normaly in this place it is orange and normal but when the problrm happened it was like the color of flame or lava i dont know so i checked the temperature of my components to see that my gtx has gone to 76° so immediatly i closed the game and quit. before i was playing and it was always between 62 and 69 at max but today it did this so i have opened the game again and everything was working fine and nothing has happened again the temperature was 67° so should i be worried about the temperature that has been hit when the game has started to lag but i have immediatly quit the game so nothing will be damaged and thank you and btw i have an i5 750 that run at 57° max while the gtx was at 76 and i have 16gb ram and the hard disk was at 32° the mobo temperature was at 41° the fans was spinning normaly the gpu fan was spinning at 69% while it was 76° and i have 2 intake fan in the fron and one exhaust fan rear and one exhaust fan on top this is all my specs i will be very thankfull if you help me and thank you very much and my gpu is an MSI GTX 970 4G gaming edition.

76C is nowhere near close to a dangerous operating temperature for a GPU. Reference versions of Nvidia cards allow for target temperatures of 80C+. So whatever the issue is, it isn't because the card is overheating and throttling, however clearly something went wrong the last time you were playing. Maybe it was strictly a game or driver error that was causing excessive GPU utilization & lowered performance, which could explain the increased temperatures. What driver version are you on? Also, it would be a good idea to list the rest of your specs, at the very least your motherboard, power supply and operating system.
