ConcordeX causes FSX to stop working

Hi, dunno if this is the right place to ask about this sort of thing but I don't have an account for a dedicated FSX forum so I thought I'd ask here -

I have downloaded the FSlabs ConcordeX addon for FSX. I followed the installation instructions correctly and did everything I was told. I booted up the game, I set up a free flight and clicked the "Fly Now!" button. However, The loading screen was displayed and got to 3% and it then proceeded to crash and display the "FSX has stopped working message." What's wrong?

Solution
What windows version are you running? You could try run the game in compatibility mode. Right click on the desktop item to start the game, click compatibility tab, and run it in a previous older version. that may help. Also, just double check the install. these things can be finnicky, so make sure 100% its done as instructed. I'm not doubting you :) just to be sure :)

I tried a reinstall but it made no difference. Neither did running it in compatibility mode Here are my specs -

CPU: i5 2400 (stock speed)
GPU: MSI GTX 750Ti 2GB (stock speed)
Mobo: Dell M5DCD
RAM: 8GB
PSU: EVGA 430W
OS: Windows 10 pro 64bit
HDD: 1TB

Also I want to make sure you know I bought the product legitimately and it is not pirated

Sorry I tried all of those before asking on here and none of them worked. Also, it's only ConcordeX that causes FSX to crash. I can load up any other plane and it works fine

ah, okay. Then it's just the mod then. There's not much else you can do.

Are you sure? It's hardly a small mod nobody's heard of, several people have it working perfectly. D'you think I should perhaps go on a forum that's a bit more based on FSX rather than a general tech forum?

Yes, that's an idea. Other might have suggestions for a fix. The thing with mods is, yes they may work and for lots will work just fine. However, they are not tested in the same way as full games and as such I'd imagine there is a higher chance of the mod not working with all systems.

After running it compatibility mode, doing fresh installs etc it would appear it's destined not to function.

Have you tried these FAQ's from FSlabs? http://www.flightsimlabs.com/index.php/concorde-x/
