F9 was the change for i5-4690K, F8 was for other Haswell CPU's
Either way, you need to update and latest as said is F10b
do I need to update to F9 or 10b? as I went to go check on gigabytes website 10b is beta bios.
I'd go with F10b.. that's from 2014 so if there was a major problem with the Beta it would have been removed by now. Also, it said it applies to the "K" series so it may be beneficial to you (I would guess it has to do with overclocking settings).
