Thoughts for 1080p 60hz gaming? (would there be any benefit to using 144hz with this setup?)

CPU $150 - i5 4690 (non k , no overclock) -used
GPU $165 - gtx 970 Asus turbo/oc -used
RAM $50 - Kingston hyper x red ddr3 1600 qty. (2) x 4gb -used
HDD $35 - 1tb 7200 -new
MOBO $50 - MSI H81M-P33 (no overclock) -new
PSU $55 - 600w corsair CX series -new
CASE $65 - generic -new

TOTAL $570.00

Many thanks in advance!!!

..or would it be worth spending a little more and getting the 4690k to oc and a motherboard that allows oc, allowing better usage of upgraded gpu in the future?

Solution
My first suggestion is the PSU, I would get the CX550 or 650 grey label instead of the older CX600 or a SeaSonic S12II 520W or 620W.
The Case, there are some good name brand cases for $65, NZXT S340 and Phanteks P400.

If the K series and Z mobo isn't much more it might be worth it. The H81 mobo can support a 4790K in the future though, which might drop in price in a year or two.

CX 600 is poor quality. You will be better off with this new build:
