So i have a Gigabyte ga-m56s-s3 motherboard,and a few months back a problem occured
My internet stopped working just randomly
It started disconnecting whenever i opened almost anything
Examples
Open a game (any game, doesn't matter if it's mulitplayer or singleplayer)
Open any photo
Open Gom player???
Sometimes it even shuts off when browsing,or watching YT videos
As soon as i opened anything, the light on the motherboard shuts off, indicating there's no internet
So what i tried was going from windows 7 to windows 10,updated,still had the same problem
Then i changed the cable going from my modem to my motherboard (a 10 meter long, brand new cable) That solved the issue for some time (By the way my modem is a Huawei hg53-v1)
That solved the issue for about a month, and a few days ago i installed a windows 10 update
After that my internet started doing the same thing, disconnects whenever i open something
I tried searching on the internet but to no avail
So one day while i was cleaning my PC,i took out the CMOS battery,so i could clean thoroughly
I was cleaning for about 30 minutes, then i plugged everything back in,went back to set some options (like time, date, integrated peripherals, virtualization) and started my PC,all worked fine
And a couple of days ago,i started up world of tanks, and noticed my internet was shutting off again, but only on world of tanks
Anyways i went to sleep, left my pc on and the music playing on youtube, while i was asleep my pc went into sleep mode, when the playlist was finished,i woke up the next morning and *woke up* my pc,only to see the problem occur again,i shut it down, turned off the PSU,replaced with another CMOS battery, turned it on,worked again
World of tanks still gives the same problem, turns off the internet
When i check in device manager it says nvidia nforce networking controller (and a bunch of WAN miniports)
Usually when this problem occurs,i go into cmd and type in netsh int ip reset, shut down my pc,remove the battery for some time, put it back, plug it in,and then it works, but stops working some time later
Now i have no idea what this means,or why is it doing it,i am no tech god,but if someone had this issue,or knows what's going on,i would be more than glad to listen,i just want my internet to work fine, like it did before,i don't wanna go into a multiplayer match, only to get kicked because of my internet
Just to mention, the option to shut down the device to save power,in power management (for the nvidia nfroce networking controller) is turned off in device manager
PS,i just tried palying league of legends, kept disconnecting, the green light is stable, the yellow/orange is flashing like stupid

Solution
PCI is an old standard and tp link doesn´t provide updates till windows 7 for the driver. Like before, check if it works out of the box, if not, you will have to find drivers for win10 for it. Saw some successful installations of users. Driver link is below the video. You should scan it for viruses before installing it.

You say in your Device Manager it lists nvidia nforce networking controller. Under "Network Adapters" does it list "Realtek Family Controller"? The lan on your motherboard is "Realtek 8211BL network controller".

You should also make sure your chipset drivers were the last version issued [v12.15]. What operating system are you using?

Nope, only nvidia nforce networking controller, and a bunch of WAN miniports

I am using Windows 10
And i am pretty sure that i am using the latest chipset, downloaded from GIgabyte's website
Would it be a problem if i installed the chipset again, just to make sure, would it cause any problems if i have it already?

Where you see "NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller", right click it and select "Properties" and under the "Driver" tab look and see what "Driver Version:" you have. Is it [v12.15]? If not select "Update Driver".

It says the driver version is 7.3.1.7336
When i do it automatically,it says i have the latest ones
When i try to pick from my PC,it won't show the chipset driver that i downloaded

After reading over your original post again you said;

"a few days ago i installed a windows 10 update, After that my internet started doing the same thing, disconnects whenever i open something".

Looking over the support page for your motherboard, it shows this board does not support Window 10. That is likely your problem. You should go back to using Windows 7. Your motherboard does not even support Windows 8 or 8.1.

But,it started with windows 7,that's why i upgraded to 10

Non the less, Windows 7 may not solve your problem, but Windows 10 may compound them.

In the end your problem may be this is an old motherboard with an Nvidia nForce 560 chipset which is no longer supported since Nvidia went out of the chipset business a long time ago. There my be nothing more you can do.

Any idea why it started so randomly? It worked fine ever since i got it,kinda weird it started doing that a few months ago :/

I can't say for sure, but in the end parts get old and they don't work as well as they used to. You may just need to accept your trying to keep using a computer longer than it's reasonable to expect. Give this motherboard a dignified burial and move on.

Yeah...i was afraid i'll have to do that,oh well guess i'll have to

Save any parts you can from the old build, and buy some inexpensive new parts.

if the cable is fine, it´s a driver or hardware problem

one thing you can try is getting a windows 10 compatible PCIe LAN card.

Try Ubuntu live, if it disconnects there too, it´s a hardware problem, like LAN chip on your motherboard, cable or the modem itself. Other systems don´t have this problem? If others have problems too, unplug the power of your modem or factory reset it.

Also you could try to disable the lan features in BIOS or your motherboard for cable detection and similar.

One thing i noticed on the modem,is when this stuff happens, and most of the time when it's connected and turned on
The internet light is flashing, and not stable, and from the video tutorial provided by my internet provider, the light on the video is stable, not blinking,i will call them today, see if it's something on their end, just to be sure

I don't really know how to set that up,and yeah internet and ADSL lights are stable
By the way,i have got this kind of like,a little modem, that you can carry around that has i guess mobile data on it
And i plugged it in via USB to my pc,(just like the standard phone charging cable) and now i am loading up games and all
So this only leads me to belive the LAN port is shot,or is dying slowly

Since this is a very old motherboard, if you can get it working properly that way, be happy and leave it that way. What ever works.

Well i think this does not have unlimited mobile data on it,wouldn't make sense really
Do you think a LAN card would be of any help?

Oh this wipes my OS,well i will go to a friend's place today to pick up a USB stick to boot windows 7
Could you send me the link to the right LAN drivers, cos i almost have no idea what i am doing when getting drivers
Motherboard didn't come with a DVD
