Hey, I just upgraded my build's GPU from a GTX 1060 6GB to a GTX 1080 8GB. However from the looks of it it seems my general FPS in most games has either stayed the same or gone down. I average around 50-60 FPS in games like GTA, 70-80 in PUBG, and 150 in CSGO while streaming with all lowest settings. My CPU is i7-6700k and from what ive read and heard the CPU should manage nicely and I should be getting 100+fps on games like GTA/PubG and a solid 250 at-least while streaming CSGO. Anyone know whats wrong? Thanks
Upgraded to GTX 1080, but FPS is even worse on most games.

Your PSU is up to snuff and the GPU has all of its power connectors filled? If so, do a clean install of the drivers. Download driver cleaner here http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html and follow instructions. Then install the freshest drivers.

Cpu is throttled. The game only uses a certain amount of threads. By running the lowest settings you are maximizing gpu output, the gpu isn't doing much work at all, but demanding more from the cpu. Raise your settings. It'll lower cpu usage of the threads. What are you using to stream?
