I Have An Older Gaming Setup With A Biostar TH55B HD Motherboard With A Intel i7 860 (2.8GHz @ 95w), A XFX GTX 260 (Which Has Two 6 Pin PCIE Connectors), A Generic Hard Drive, And An Antec VP450 (450w) Power Supply.

The Current Wired Connections Are As Follows, A 6 Pin PCIE Connections Cable Going Into One Of The 6 Pin PCIE Inputs On The Graphics Cards Coming Directly From The Power Supply, A Triple Pass Through SATA Connector With One Of The Outputs Plugged Into The Power Input Of My Hard Drive, And A Triple Pass Through Molex Connector With One Output Plugged Into One Side Of A Dual Molex To 6 Pin PCIE Connector (The Other Side Of The Molex To 6 Pin Is Not Plugged Into Anything) And Another Of The Triple Molex Pass Through's Are Connected To A Molex To Fan Adapter.

I Am Wondering If It Will Be Possible With The Current Setup To Change The Wiring To Allow For A MSI GTX 1070 Aero 8g OC Which Needs A Power Input Consisting Of A Single 8 Pin PCIE Connector. I Have Heard That Using An Adapter Such As A 6 Pin PCIE To 8 Pin PCIE Is Dangerous But Do Not Know. If This Is Possible Please Help Me In Getting There, If Not Then Please Recommend A New Power Supply Which Will Grant My Needs.

Thank You,
Aiden Gaydos
