Hey I just got a laptop, it is the Acer FX553, it comes with a 1 tb HDD and coming from a pc with an SSD it feels slow af.

What I wanna do is install an ssd but keep the 1 tb hdd also, do you guys know if it has space inside for both things? I'm just afraid of opening it and losing my warranty in vain.
Ps: tried to search for it but i didnt find anything.

Specs:
Intel i5 7300 HQ
Geforce gtx 1050
8 gb RAM
1 tb HDD

Yes opening it up will void the warranty(there should be at least 1 screw somewhere with a sticker on it - the sticker cannot be tampered with). If the warranty is important to you, then I would suggest calling Asus first and letting them know what you'd like to do. They may either require you to send the laptop to them for the procedure or may authorize a local repair shop to it.

Btw,

since your thread's been posted, there was a FTC ruling several months ago making those 'warranty void' stickers illegal.

So removing it will not void your warranty. Although I'm sure the manufacturer would most likely hassle you about why it was removed, who repaired it, etc...
