GeForce GTX 1080 card- Asus vs Gigabyte

I am looking to upgrade my graphic cards and saw that Newegg has two listings for their blackfriday. The first is the Asus ROG 1080 and the other is Gigabyte, for 509.99 and 499.99 respectfully. I was wondering what the difference between the two are and if I should choose one over the other.

it would be good for you to list the specific part number of the GPU, to be able to compare them properly (because both companies manufacture several versions of the same card)

but in either case. Asus is a very strong name and they have been pushing out some great GPUs. You could also have a look at MSIs, they have some good stuff too!

In my opinion, Gigabyte is more on the Budget side of GPUs, ASUS and MSI are more mainstream on the quality side.
