Hello everyone, I'm gonna get my gtx 1050 soon and i don't know if my graphics will run in the below said spec.
My spec.
i3 3220 3.30 Ghz
4gb ddr3 ram.(will be upgrading to 6gb soon, not an issue.)
450w zebronics PSU.
INTEL dh61bf motherboard.
Windows 10- creators update.

Can anyone plz tell me if Nvidia gtx 1050 work on my pc, if not is there any other alternative card??
Also plz tell me if 1050ti is compatible.?
Thnx in advance.

That's an Ivy Bridge CPU, motherboards by then were including a compatible bios, so I think you should be okay on that side of things. With two cores/four threads, some games will not perform as well as you might like. However that would be the case no matter what card you bought. With the games your CPU can handle, that 1050 should be a good match.

Adding 2gb is better than adding nothing, but adding 4gb more would be better. You would get dual channel operation, plus some games like GTA V will use more than 6gb if you have it.

gtx 1050 will bottlneck with ur cuurent system since ur cpu has only 2 cores(4 threads).
1050 ti will bottleneck alot.
u need a 4 core cpu to run it at the best performance
get a 950 or a 750ti its a lot better for u.

Thnx for the reply. Won't 6 gb ram help??. I had actually posted a similar thread before, they said i3 3220 and 1050 are a great pair and the bottleneck won't be severe or noticeable. Will I get the same performance in 750ti compared to 1050??

It depends on what game you are playing and at what resolution and what graphical settings as to how much of a CPU bottleneck you'll observe.

At 1080p + High/Ultra, some games might be CPU bound. But it won't be that significant as mentioned above.

Assuming that you play games that aren't too CPU heavy, then it's actually not that bad of a match.

I'd upgrade to 8GB of ram if possible though.
