Space recovery on external hdd

I created recovery drive on my external HD of 2tb but after it showing 32 gb ...how to recover space and wonder can i store other files other then recovery files on my external drive

This issue is just that your drive has a 32Gb partition created on it. Just go into Control Panel > Admin Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management

In there you'll see the disk with its 32Gb partition and the rest will probably show as "unallocated". You can either just expand the partition to fill the whole drive, or erase the partition and create and format a new one (probably the better route).

Alternately you can use any third party partition software that you'd like.
