What processor best suits am3+ socket?

I was thinking of upgrading from amd fx 6300 to 8350 and and over clocking my cpu.
I know intel processors are much better but i dont really have the money to be spending on, basically, a whole new rig.

So what cpu would be best as i am now bottlenecking my gtx 1060 6gb on destiny 2

Well, the 8350 is a bit better, though whether this is a good option depends largely on your motherboard. Budget AM3+ motherboards tend to choke on 125W CPUs, even ones that are officially supported. So you'll need to supply that information.

I'm thinking of doing the same as above however my mobo is a ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0

I have a Corsair 650W Power Supply. Would it suffice?
