Need Help Choosing a Power Supply

Hi guys! So awhile back, around two or three years ago, I built my computer. The first thing that made me suspect my power supply was bad started about a year ago. My computer would, at random intervals, just power off the computer. Then, as I would try to turn it back on, it would either shut itself off again or work like normal. When I checked the event viewer it said the error had something to do with "Kernel-Power". The problem then goes away for a few months then comes back for maybe a few days, then goes away again. It has been having this issue on and off for months. The thing that made me assume it was getting worse was, as I got onto my PC today, a system error came up saying "power surge detected by your motherboard" or something related to that. I'm assuming this is all PSU related, so I'm wondering if it is my PSU, what should I get to replace the current one I have? My current one is a Cooler Master V750 Series. I'll post my computer specs that I can if it helps in choosing a new PSU.

Specs:
Graphics: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
CPU: Intel Core i7-6700k CPU @ 4.00GHz (8CPUs), 4.0GHz
Memory:16384MB RAM
Motherboard: ASUS Maximus VIII Hero

Let me know if anything else is needed in helping choose the right kind of PSU for me, I guess I could've chosen one myself, but I figured you guys probably have more knowledge on this stuff than me!
