Dear Tomshardware community,

For over 3 years i have my PC now (built on my own), switched some components now and then but since last week i am experiencing these restarts from my PC while playing games like: Battlefield 4, 1 and COD WWII. Every time i get into a game, play it for 3 minutes and my PC just restarts without an error, it's so frustrating and i want to get this fixed A.S.A.P!

Here are my PC specs and temperatures on idle:

Operating System
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core i7 870 @ 2.93GHz 25 °C
Lynnfield 45nm Technology
RAM
12,0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 657MHz (9-9-9-25)
Motherboard
MSI P55-GD65 (MS-7585) (CPU1) 26 °C
Graphics
PL2481H (1920x1080@60Hz) Monitor
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti (ASUStek Computer Inc) 26 °C
Storage
232GB Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB (SSD) 23 °C
111GB OCZ-VERTEX3 (SSD) 30 °C

The problem is similar to this one: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/56480-2-computer-restarts-randomly-playing-games-help

The things i have done to try to solve the problem:

- Changed the GPU (Asus R9290-DC2OC-4GD5 was in first, now the 'test' GPU: GTX 660 is in), problem still occurred, nothing changed.
- Replaced the PSU twice ! (First in 750W, now 650W) problem still occurred, nothing changed.
- Changed RAM from 8GB to 12GB, problem still occurred
- Reinstalled Windows
- Did the 'stress-test' from OCCT. (GPU,CPU and PSU all 'survived')

What is left to try guys, i am out of options...

Looking forward to hear from this beloved community!

Cheers,

This can happen, when you play for more hours your system will surely get restarted. This is not a problem its actually a caution to you on your computer usage.

when your system parts gets heated up it will automatically gets switched and will take some and restart immediately.
