I was wondering if my current rig can support a 1070 Ti gpu, its definitely been a while since ive upgraded some parts.

Currently in the rig is:
CPU: Intel i7-4770K, 3.50GHz
RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3
Motherboard: MSI Z87-G45 Gaming LGA 1150
Power supply: Corsair HX750 750W
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 960

Thanks for the help!!

Hail to you bro.
You have got a great setup, it will absolutely support GTX 1070 Ti.
Your power supply is too able to handle all the power requirements of GPU and other components.

But as our senior members suggesting, 1070 Ti is majorly for 1440p @ 144 Hz. It can handle most of the games released till now, at High settings.
For ultra settings, 1080p @ 144Hz will be fine.

Since you haven’t mentioned anything about your Monitor. Let us assume you have a 1080p monitor @ 60Hz, then GTX 1070 Ti will be overkill. Just because it has been made up for greater work load, and you are just making it lazy.
So my final words will be,
Have it, for 1440p or greater
Or
Buy some lower version for 1080p.
Do let us know what you have decided. It will...

yes

overclock the cpu a bit

Well it's not a simple yes or no. It will work, yes. You'll get better performance than what you have now. But if you're using a 1080p 60hz monitor it might be overkill. If you want to game at 4k, your system might be underpowered. Then a lot depends on the games you run and how well your CPU handles those games.
