This is my fist time building a gaming pc, and I just want to know if this build is any good. So I'll take all the advice I can get. Since I'm sort of lazy, I just looked for which parts matched and were compatible, not really the quality of each piece. So if anyone could give any suggestions to change something, that would be greatly appreciated.(I'm sort of on a budget, I wouldn't like to go much higher than $1000.) Thanks in advance!

First, forget about that 120mm liquid cooler. It isn't as good as cheaper air coolers.
Second, 8th-gen Intel has a core increase over 6th & 7th-gen. The i3-8350K is basically a 6600K but faster and it costs less.
The Cryorig cooler comes with a tube of good thermal paste that will last you several applications.
I changed your case to a much better one.
The 1TB HDD you had was 5,400RPM; I changed it to 7,200RPM.
Last, you forgot a power supply. That bumped the price up.

More pc than what you would have gotten with the other build.
6 core, 12 thread cpu
RX 580 video card

Or you can sub out the R5 1600x for the 1600 and drop the cpu cooler. The one it comes with is good enough for it. Then you can go with a gtx 1060 6gig which would be better for gaming within the same price range you were looking for.
