About the bios

HI i got my i3 2120 processor and im thinking of upgrading my new cpu to an i5 3470 but im not sure about the bios do i need to change the bios or just plug n play
i have ga-h61ma-d2v motherboard

Since both revisions (2.0/2.1) of the motherboard support the Intel Core I5-3470 with the base BIOS version (F4), there is nothing you need to do within BIOS in order for the new CPU to work.

If you're curious about which revision motherboard you have, as CountMike states, it's printed in the lower left corner of the motherboard. Example:
