Can I get a gtx 1060 3b and a AMD FX-8350 with a MSI 760GMA-P34?

If I were to get an nvidia gtx 1060 and an AMD FX-8350 with an MSI 760GMA-P34 motherboard? I was asking my friend if that would work and he said it should, but there might be a little bottlenecking. I wanted to know if this will work and if I can upgrade even more, let me know. Thanks in advance!

Don't put an 8350 on that board it only as a 3+1 power phase design and no heatsinks on the VRM. It will overheat and be unstable.

You need a new Ryzen or Intel setup to get the most out of a 1060. FX won't cut it now.

Would a Ryzen 5 1600 be fine? Sorry for asking a lot of questions.

Yes the 1600 is the sweet spot , throw in a B350 board and some DDR4 and then you have something to pair with that nice 1060.

What about a 1050 ti, because all I am looking for is buying a decent graphics card and a decent cpu, I don't have the budget to buy anything else new.

Yes that would be fine , and plenty of room to upgrade to a faster card later.
