Hi all! I am new to the whole PC building thing. As well as the whole PC thing in general. I am wanting to build a PC for around 1050 USD. I currently have a Ryzen 5 1600 selected in my parts list, but I am not sure if it is worth it. If I am just going to be running games such as: PUBG, Dead by Daylight, ARK, and R6S, is the 6 core Ryzen 5 needed? The Ryzen 5 1400 is almost $100 less expensive which means I could spend more money on things like RAM and Peripherals.

EDIT: Is the 1500X an option?

Here is my part list at the moment:

Thanks!

It is worth. You will be getting two extra cores, which make a big difference in heavy applications.

Gaming-wise, it's becoming more and more of a industry standard to utilize more cores, so getting those extra now will make you future proof your build longer.

You already have a pretty decent build there, i wouldn't change much, Where do you wanna spend the rest of the budget?

I'd recommend these changes:

Motherboard: Asus - PRIME B350-PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard ($69.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($89.99 @...
