Hello,

I am looking for a new PC. The goal is not to waste money unnecessarily AND without using only 20% of the build capacity...

So what suggestions would you recommend for FPS gaming build for 1080p @ 144fps with keeping the price as low as possible ?

Thanks to everyone

Solution
You'll save some money with an R5 1600 Non-X as it includes a decent CPU Cooler, the 1600X does not.

I'd take a 250GB SSD + 1TB HDD over just one 500GB SSD personally.

Otherwise It's not too bad overall. Watch out for Black Friday Sales.

If you do not like AMD a.k.a. you want only Intel, you can simply replace the proc and mobo from your own post above with an I5 8600k or I5 8400 and a Z370 mobo of your choice.
It will increase the budget a bit but if you really only like Intel...that is the best alternative.

Other than that everything is ok
I would pick 1600 rather than 1600x to reduce the price.
I would also prefer a 250GB SSD and 1TB HDD, if you do not have any HDD left at home. Having only 500GB...I do not think it is enough for everything.

and...watch out for black friday and cyber monday items

I agree with you about the SSD + HDD. In situations like this, would you ever consider suggesting the FX-8350?

I'd argue the AMD FX line to be completely obselete at this point, unless you can find one for a ridiculously cheap price. The 8 cores/threads can be more useful than some standard quad core models even if per core wise they aren't as powerful. But in most situations I'd rather side with an R3 1200.
