Whenever I play Sims 4, my monitor turns off. I updated my driver, did a clean install of Windows and replaced my old monitor with a new one. This problem occurred with my old monitor too so I don't think anything is wrong with my monitor

I think it has something to do with overheating, I installed HWMonitor, ran Sims 4 and these are the results. Can anyone please help me out? The game worked smoothly a month ago but now it's laggy and monitor turns off. I would really appreciate if you guys can look into it

hi there,

I would start with cleaning out your graphical card from dust !

somtimes you fans on the Video-card is sucking up air to cool down the GPU, if some dust come with it (like in bedrooms it's full of dust everywhere, it will create somekind of carpet blocking the airflow !!!

remove the dust with an aircompressor but be sure to BLOCK the fan with something (small stick or toothpick so it doesn't spin with the air you blow in it... a fan can act as a generator sending voltage into the video-card and ruining it even more).

just let us know if after this the card is still working !

Cheers, Louise...
