So currently im on a crappy copper cable connection in the middle of nowhere and im limited to 3Mbps and maybe 1Mbps upload. Im currently looking at point to point wireless internet but things are confusing me. some companies say the do point to point, some direct line of sight, others wireless internet. some are moderately cheap. (more expensive than a standard cable connection but do able for me). others are talking £350 install costs and 80 a month for 30Mbps. am i going about this wrong?
Need a better connection for streaming.

You can get pretty decent speeds wirelessly using line of sight, but it seems that the issue is that you are so far away from most core infrastructure, that any internet you get is going to be slow and crappy or prohibitively expensive to get setup. However, with your current speeds, I would look into satellite internet as it is usually at least 10mb down and around 2-3 up.
