Hello,
I was just wanting to see if was time for me to upgrade my PC's Current Configuration? or Stay Put...? SPECS:
i7 2600 @ 3,4 GHz (Non-K) - (Second Gen Sandy Bridge CPU)
8GB of DDR3 RAM
ATI Radeon HD 5770 (Sapphire) 1GB of GDDR5
120GB SSD (OS Drive)
1TB HDD (Game Drive and Space for Other Junk)
OS; Windows 10 Pro x64

Also, I've Managed to Change my Steam OS Location, But when i got to Install a Game, It Will Fail, And Tell Me "Corrupted Disk" I Checked Even the HDD and it showed up Fine... But Steam Didn't Think so....

Why I'm Asking This Is Because with Newer and Newer Games Coming Out Every so often I wonder can my PC Handle playing them at a Decent FPS?

Solution
LGA 1155 was for Sandy Bridhe and Ivy bridge (2nd and 3rd gen Intels). You'll need a 8th Gen Coffee Lake (LGA1151 supporting Z370 chipset mobo) .
Good ones are:

The last three choices are the cost effective Z370 motherboards available.

Deepcool Tesseract series are good , go for it. :) perfectly capable of a good setup. some...

Hello,

You should be able to run most recent (past years) games but for the latest games you should consider upgrading the GPU imo. Also maybe add a bit more RAM depending on what games you play/want to play tho you're not exaclty "weak" in that matter.
If you want to know something about a specific game you could try to use the CYRI app to see what spec requirements certain games have. They also give you a feedback on how good your setup will perform in that specific game.

Have a nice day!

Hi, Your i7 will still perform well for a few years in gaming and absolutely no reason to upgrade now.

8GB RAM is fine for now and you can always add 8GB more, when you can. But not many games use 16GB or more. At least you'll be good with gaming at 1080P at High/Ultra settings with a good GPU... and that brings me to....
Your GPU has aged a lot, even with a fast CPU and sufficient RAM some recent game will run poorly because your GPU is 8 years old and only have 1 GB of Video RAM. Also it supports only DX 11.

Just replace the 5770 with some thing decent like GTX 1060 3GB or RX 580 4GB (on budget)/ or GTX 1070 8GB or AMD RX 580 8GB (if you can extend your budget) and trust me, your PC will be fairly high end one. It will run GTA V, Doom and Witcher 3 at Ultra settings at 1080P easily then.

Also, do check if your PSU supports higher end cards, and if not you might want to replace to a good 550-600 Watt PSU.

Thanks, I've previously had a 600 watt PSU but I replaced it because it was making noise... loud psu fan... now the pc has a 500 watt rockfish psu with a blue led glow
But should I look into a bigger case.. for cable management?

A good quality mid tower PC cabinet will suffice for this setup. As for the PSU, a 500 watt PSU would be ok for the 5770. If you are upgrading it to a say RX 580 or GTX 1070, getting a 600 watt to 650 watt PSU would be recommended.

What would be some good upgrade options? I plan to upgrade to upgrade my PSU and My GPU and RAM And MOBO and maybe a new dust free case.... FYI I Need if I was to find a new Mobo it would have to be an LGA 1155 MOBO also for a case i was looking at the Deepcool Tesseract Series of cases....would those be a good case choice? also i need a CPU Cooler, I was looking at the Hyper 212 Evo but i didn't know if it would work in the case....
