Hi guys! So i have an asus m2n mx se plus mobo and i would like to buy a new gpu for it,please don't say i need to buy a new MOBO its outdated or stuff like that ,i have a 550w psu,4gb ddr2 ram and amd athlon 64 x2 5200+ cpu, also which pci express version does this mobo have? My budget is up to 100 euros, will be mostly gaming.I am also fine with purchasing used parts

You don't say what your budget is or what you will use it for, two important considerations. That would be a first gen PCI-ex board. The cards are backwards compatible for the most part. Since it's a dual core I'd probably get at most a GT 1030 for it. The games that CPU and 4gb DDR2 can handle are games the 1030 can handle. That's of new cards. I'd suggest, for maximum chance of compatibility, a used card. Something like an HD 7770 or if you're more ambitious, an HD 7850. These cards also are known as the 250x and 270. Look around for whichever costs the least.

It's probably PCIE 1.0.I have an old HD4850 that works fine with older CPUs so if you could find a used one,or maybe even RX560 which is new tech you would probably be fine.
