MSI Gaming X GTX 1060 6gb Vs. Sapphire RX 580 Nitro+ 8gb - Which GPU suits Ryzen 5 1600 better? Also found RX 580 to be almost 20$ cheaper here. Any comment is more than welcome :)

If you will be buying new PSU anyway, then go for 580. Even though you could go for 450 W unit with 1060, price difference between 450 and 550 are often so small, or even sometimes you can get 550 W cheaper. Plus, it is always nice to have more powerful unit so you don't have to buy new every time you swap GPU, as lifespan of quality PSU is much longer then lifespan of GPU.

The 6GB 1060 and RX580 trade blows back and forth, with the 1060 coming out ahead more often than not (generally by a small margin though).
It'll really depend on what titles you play and whether they favour one or the other - check out some benchmarks to see if there's much a swing in either cards favour.

Both cards would pair equally well with a Ryzen5 1600.

Although the 580 is cheaper, it does come with an added +105W power draw vs the 1060 (225W vs 120W) which may be a worthy consideration.

Wow, thank you for the quick replies :D
I wasn't paying attention to the bigger power consumption by RX580, thinking it shouldn't be such a large difference between the two. Now when I consider it, "20$ cheaper option" could result in having to buy a bit more expensive PSU.
