question about PC

HP - OMEN by HP Desktop - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 - 1TB Hard Drive - Brushed Aluminum
im looking for pc that can be sufficient in both gaming and music production would this be a good choice? im open to suggestions.

Budget and location will play huge factors.

For gaming, that's a fairly solid 1080p, medium settings machine.... possibly high settings, depending on the title.
I saw an HP Pavilion with similar specs on sale at Walmart in the US for $500 - which is quite an appealing offering.

As for music production, it really depends on how often (ie is it an occasional hobby, or your full-time employment) and what programs you use.

as for music i currently use FL Studio, and later on i'll probably use Reason, but i haven't actually played any games via pc so i just want something that can handle both.
