My third gigabyte aorus 1080 ti RMA just died

So, I need some advice here. I bought a new pc in September. Randomly six days while playing overwatch during menu(uncapped fps,no vsync, obviously in games like those) there was random glitches on screen and pixilation. I had to hard reset pc as it wouldn't respond. No display on the port I was using on the GPU, I switched ports(DP 1 to DP2, etc), it worked fine till bios then again that pixilation and freeze till I ran out of all ports on gpu.
New RMA comes 2 weeks later. Same issue after a week.
New RMA comes 2 weeks later, this one has weird glitching on unigine heaven out of the box but no display freezing and pc continues to work. ( Tried different drivers, using DDU to uninstall, and Vbios flashes didn't do jack)
So my question is, is the batch of GPUs I am getting bad or could it be a PSU problem, or could it be a motherboard(since gigabyte upgraded my purchased gaming 5 mobo to a "oem" gaming 7)?

Specifications for reference:-
PSU - Corsair RM750x (heard it was really great and a far cry from the "bad" RM series)
Motherboard - Gigabyte Aorus Z270 gaming 7(I originally bought a gaming 5 but it was scratched inside the box and once I sent it back they gave me this, claiming it was an OEM version hence didn't come with a box)
GPU - Aorus Gtx 1080 ti (non -extreme)
Processor - 7700k(Oced to 4.8 Ghz)
RAM - 16 GB (8x2) Corsair Vengeance RGB 3000 MHZ ( Oced to 3200MHZ)

So what could be the culprit a bad luck with a bad batch of GPU's, the replaced(upgraded) motherboard, the power supply?
PS: I haven't had any issues with random restarts and all which typically indicate a bad psu so I am really confused why me :(
PPS: There is a 132 Kv line around 20 metres from my room, could that cause some issues with its EM field(I know it isn't good for people to live so close to those but no other option atm :( )

Solution
I don't think it is likely that it is your motherboard.
I think I would try a different PSU. Your PSU is a very good one, but everyone can make a lemon.
https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/631048-psu-tier-list-updated/ note: it is rated here as a teir 1.

I would also consider a UPS and/or a line conditioner. A PSU is supposed to eat back electricity so your parts don't get hit by it. But 3 bad GPUs is hard to understand.

I am using a surge protector on an APC UPS (http://www.apc.com/shop/in/en/products/APC-Back-UPS-1100VA-230V-without-auto-shutdown-software-India/P-BX1100C-IN) which comes built in with a surge protector (attempt to overkill surge protection)
What signs should I look for incase the PSU is faulty? and how likely is a severely bad batch of GPUs from gigabyte?

Possibly a bad batch, but unlikely. I'm wondering if it isn't a mobo issue with power regulation to the pci-e slots? I'm rocking an Aorus 1080 Ti Xtreme on a GB UP4TH mobo with no issues. Had SLI GB 670 OC Windforce before that with no problem.

One thing that hasn't been discussed is TEMPS. Are you monitoring CPU/GPU temps- and where are they at?

I am checking the CPU/GPU temps using RTSS. ranges from 77 celcius to 81 on GPU which is well in ideal range. CPU is below 80 degrees on non AVX loads. AVX loads can push it above 80 but below 87.
But I have noticed the GPU backplate on the aorus GPU to heat up really high but I have no tool to keep track of temperate of components beneath the backplate

I tested with a friends 1050 ti (doesn't use external power connectors) and it works fine but I couldn't test for more than a day.
Plus I sent the motherboard (gigabyte gaming 7) the last time with the GPU. They said it was ok and there no problem with it

Are you sure your CPU OC is stable? An unstable CPU OC could cause the same symptoms. It is the common thread throughout your hardware swaps.

I also tested GPU without CPU OC. And yes I tested CPU OC stability using asus realbench runs(tests handbrake/avx instructions) and multiple aida64 and intel xtu stability/benchmark runs and occt

Three bad GPUs in a row seem nearly impossible- but I suppose it's mathematically a possibility. I think Bjornl may be on to something- a failing PSU. Try a different, returnable one and see if it helps. I know it's a royal pain in the arse, but three bad GPUs in a row seems so unlikely...

The PSU is in warranty, I am actually planning to send it to gigabyte this time round with the GPU(they said they'd take it over the phone) so we'll know for sure what is the issue and if the PSU is the problem i'll send it out to corsair with gigabytes seal of approval

Good! Best of luck to you.

APC is a good brand. I would do as you mentioned and send the PSU off. The odds of 3 faulty GPUs is just so astronomical, not impossible but well beyond the realm of probable.
