I recently purchased a Seasonic Prime 1200w PLATINUM PSU, but it only have 6 slots of PCI-E connectors one of which is needed to power the motherboard. Now I have to deal with 5 slots remaining of PCI-e to power my 6pcs 1070 for mining.

Question is can I use 1 PCI-E cable from my PSU to power 2 GTX 1070? They are undervolted using MSI afterburner consuming 100-110watts each or 200-220watts combined.

TIA

Just make sure you use 2 dual 8 pin cable for your cards, and DO NOT MIX use dual 8 pin and single 8 pin for each card. It happens to my 3-GPU setting, that the 3rd GPU is connected via 2 single 8 pins while other 2 are connected via dual 8 pin, when you are mining, the pc will shutdown due to power surge protection on the MOBO.
