dual channel ram

Sir in my pc i use one 8 gb 1866mhz ram and one 4gb 1866mhz.i n cpu-z it show dual channel 1866mhz and bios also stated same.my question is how can i know my two ram working in full dual channel mode or their are any compatibility issue

If you installed dual channel and cpu-z recognized dual channel, then they "should" run properly. Having said that, you are always at a higher risk of running into compatability issues when using mismatched ram. You didn't mention the brand or model of the ram, but being that they are different sizes they certainly didn't come from the same package.

Your actually running in flex mode. The 4gb stick and the first 4gb of the 8gb stick are running in dual channel the extra 4gb of that stick runs in single channel.
Nothing wrong with that no performance dirrerence you will notice unless your just running benchmarks.
