So I'm building a new computer, all the usual stuff but I'm stuck on the graphics card choice. I normally go MSI but someone recommended the Zotac AMP! Extreme 1080 Ti as opposed to the MSI 1080 Ti Gaming X TRIO. Whats everyones personal opinion as the price doesn't bother me too much.

Rdslw, maybe for the moment yes it seems solid but if you dissassemble the board and check teh electronic components you will see that they used cheap capacitors, low power phases and bad quality too, etc. Asus uses the highest quality components in their boards. Cool and quiet is not everything to a card, it is important what is under the hood too. MSI and gigabyte uses the same qulity components where zotac, inno3d and the other cheap cards uses the most cheap components on the market. EVGA is hit and miss, some models uses high quality components some uses the cheapest ones.

I find ZOTAC stuff quite solid, But I did only use stuff up to 1060. Not sure about high end, but lower was/is cool and quiet.
I would recomend ROG, EVGA, MSI, ZOTAC, GIGABYTE in this order
