Hello..
I have an old build from 2013 which was working fine until before asking this question.
CPU i3 3210
Mobo:Asus P8 B75 MLX
GPU Radeon HD 7770
8gb corsair vengeance ram
Samsung Syncmaster 943swx (max 1366*768
Windows 7.
Also i use a dvi to vga adpater as well.
I have been happy with it and was playing various AAA games satisfactorily (Shadow of War going on)
My display just went off while pc was sitting idle after gaming. I restarted and everything was going on in the background(could hear the sound of windows playing) but there is no display. Tried plugging it into mobo display and used it for a while and plugged it back to gpu port but still there was no display. I Cleaned the gpu as well a day before this all happened and after that also it was working fine..Help me out guys

Solution
I have seen cards (video) you think you pushed in properly while cleaning pc, and in fact they are not quite all the way in and after a day or so, slightly pop upwards and disconnect themselves from the PCIE Lanes, open case and push down on your card to see if it reseats itself, (do turn computer off while doing this), also check in bios, in video hardware section to make sure the PCIE is the default video card and not internal.

you could test monitor on another computer to eliminate the monitor is not having the issue, and then test video card in another computer and/or test another video card in your computer to make sure the PCIE lanes for slot 1 have not just died on you.
