What happends if I unplug my HDD....

Hi. I have a ssd And a HDD. I have noe unplugged my HDD from the system And is now reinstaling Windows for my SSD. I have years of fotage on my HDD And I really dont want to miss it. Therefor I unplugged my HDD before installing Windows on my SSD. Is this safe, will I loose everything on my HDD? And If I do, What can I do to get it back

absolutely no worries here.this is,in fact,the recommended procedure when installing the operating system on another drive.

But now that you're thinking about it....... It may be time to start backing up your data, Hdd's can fail at any time, and you may not get any warning at all.
