GTX1080TI PC crashing. What does it mean?

Solution
Hmm. Then this can be alittle hard.

Can you open up the case and find your PSU? and tell us what brand it is. And maybe how mutch "power" it has?
What you can try and do is to under clock your GPU and see what happens.
Again, UNDER clock. Not overclock.

If your games dont freeze up then you have your answer. Either the PSU cant deliver enough power or it can be damaged. Or your GPU is not working correct.

I will try it. But for now how do I even check my psu? I can take the glass casing off but I really don't want to mess with the parts and break something. The power supply is blocked off by a plastic cover. I have no idea how to get to it just to see what brand I have.

From what I have gathered, it's a 750w? Idk if that's good or not. Idk what power supply should go with a gtx1080ti. I also wouldn't have the faintest idea on how to switch it. I'm still going to unserclock it and give the details.

I don't know how to underclock. Idk what sliders I need to be using I'm msi afterburner.
Idk if this helps but for example, in the game Doom, I move my aiming cursor around like crazy and the fps will slow to 40fps and then when I start jumping, it finally crashes.

Sounds like a GPU or PSU problem.

750 watts is enough for your system, but can you give us the full name of your PSU? you got good ones and some really bad ones.

When it comes to MSI Afterburner you just move 2 sliders but before you do click on the save profile button (bottom right nomaly) and save it to lets say NR 1

Then the 2 sliders:
Core Clock: Move it all the way to the left.
Memory Clock: Move it all the way to the left.

Save profile NR 5

Now try DOOM again and let us know what happens.
