So I was think of building a pc but was not going to build it all at once with the specs I want was going to upgrade it over time. The wattage before I upgrade it is 320w and after I upgrade it is 530w.

Also was thinking of getting a 750w ps and was wondering if that will be ok or do I have to buy to ps and swap it out later when the wattage gets higher.

i would buy a 750 watt power supply in my experience which is nothing compared to frag above me

iv been able to sli 970's and 1070's off of a 750 watt PSU with the GPU's OC and the CPU OC

i am also using 2 d5 pumps in my custom loop
i have not experienced ANY issues what so ever

^What exactly do you mean by this? I could just as easily say it's very misleading to imply a 750w PSU is needed for upgrades, when in fact even a 1080 Ti will easily run on a decent 600w unit. Even a 1080 Ti only requires 35 amps, 600w PSUs typically output 46 amps or more. That pretty much clarifies overkill right there.

Like I said, it totally depends on the level of GPU he plans to use. For instance if he winds up only affording a 1050 Ti, with plans to upgrade to a 1060, both of which suffice plenty well on a 450w, 750w would be a waste of money. This is especially the case when RAM prices are so high now.

All I'm saying is I'm very hesitant to advise on PSU power without having a clue what GPU will be used or upgraded to. Note as well OP that when it comes to recommendations on PSU wattage, it's just a loose, conservative estimate to cover a range of quality, meaning cheaper models often output less amperage for how many watts they put out. You should go more by the required amperage.
