MSI B350 LEDs Blink Once, then nothing

Just finished plugging in all the cabling for a new build, and went to power it on -- cue the title. All of the motherboard/cooler fan LEDs blink once, very shortly (<1 sec), and then nothing. I've double checked to ensure the CPU/cooler are good, the PSU is plugged in properly, and there are no wires running under the motherboard, which is mounted on standoffs. The only EZdebug LED that lights up is the CPU one.
CPU is a Ryzen 7 1700 with stock cooler.
2 4gb sticks DDR4 Ballistix Sport RAM
NVIDIA 1050 TI GPU
Corsair 500 watt 80bronze PSU, confirmed good

That could be, but i would also take a closer look at the CPU. Is it installed properly, look for any bent pins, is the CPU fan plugged in, check the CPU power connector. I would take the CPU out and install it once again, taking you time and watching very carefully as you reinstall it.

After looking at the CPU, started swapping cables. Ultimately the issue was with a shorting power cable that was plugged into one of my SSDs. Swapped that, issue solved!
