Re installed windows 10 and I'm unable to connect to the internet via Ethernet or anything. Went to device manager and saw I was missing 'Ethernet controller'. I went to the ASUS mobo driver webpage and downloaded them all but none fixed it, I know it should be a driver issue but I can't seem to work it out.

When I run the Realtek Ethernet controller driver installer it comes up with an error message 'The Realtek network controller was not found. If deep sleep mode is enabled please plug in the cabl

Motherboard is a B150m-plus by ASUS. Thanks

Is the motherboard still under warranty? That is a very unusual problem you are describing. Window 10 should install an Ethernet controller automatically.

Under "Settings > Network Connections" what do you see?
