I am doing a fresh Windows 7 install and can't get my secondary monitors running. OS is Windows 7 64 Ultimate.
Previously I had multiple monitors running on the internal graphics card, Intel HD 4600, indicating no hardware/cables issues.
First installed a cracked Windows, installed Intel VGA driver (before anything else), and secondary monitors started working. Immediately.
Then I purchased an original Windows. Installed it, installed the Intel VGA driver (before anything else), but secondary monitors do not work.
I made an Acronis backup as soon as Windows finished installation, which allowed me to retest and retest and retest, and retest and retest.
I cant get the monitors to work no matter what. Under Device Manager I can see Windows recognizes the Intel HD Graphics 4600 driver. But no other monitors show in the Control Panel Display pane.
I have updated the Intel video driver as well as tried installing before and after many other drivers. Nothing works. Any ideas? Thank you.
