I finally finished my first PC build with the help of a friend and specs below:
D Frame Mini Case
ASUS Z170I Pro Gaming Motherboard
Intel Pentium G4600
16GB DDR4 2133MHz Ram
MSI GTX 1050ti Gaming X 4G
500 GB HDD
600W PSU
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit

In terms of starting up my PC I'm hit with the "Overclocking failed Press F1 to run setup" Onwards I have to manually select my Boot priority to my HDD which is the only thing there. Another thing is my PC doesn't reboot properly. In the rebooting process it doesn't actually reboot and my screen stays black.

I install all my drivers but still have Wireless Network problems. Drivers that fail to install are the following: PCI Memory Controller, Network Controller, and SM Bus Controller. Internet with an Ethernet Cable works as well but I plan to use my PC in the basement with my WIFI antennas.

I do get the message from windows update saying "My processor is not compatible with the current software" can that be my issue?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I do? I honestly didn't know I had this because I'm very new to PCs. How can I turn this off because I didn't mess with any settings in the bios

In terms of other problems when I try updating the chipset drivers from asus or intel my pc says "You PC does not meet the minimum requirements for installing this software. error.

try clearing the bios.can u get into the bios?

Still nothing

Wait Asked my friend to see what I can do in resetting the Bios... he told me to press F5 to an alternative way of reseting. so far so good

I still run into the "computer does not meet minimum requirements for this software error" message for trying to update asus and intel chipset drivers and windows update still notifies me that my processor is not compatible with windows 7. But my PC now boots and reboots perfectly

what i would do is contact asus about it
