Is DDR3 compatible with asus z270-a Prime?

Hello guys!

So as you guys saw on the title my question is that I've a DDR3 memory and I'm going to buy a asus z720-a prime motherboard. Also, I'm going to buy a I7-7700k cpu. Should I upgrade to a DDR4 or can I still move forward with DDR3?

No, DDR4 is the only supported memory-type for Z270.

Some 100 series boards from Intel supported DDR3L (low voltage), but as of the 200 series, only DDR4 is an option.
